EMPLOYMENT ADJUNCT PROFESSOR College of Liberal Studies University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK 4/2003-present Developed and taught upper and lower division online courses for the Bachelor of Liberal Studies program. Courses developed and taught included: Contemporary Social Issues (LSTD 2700); and People and Differences-Social Inequality (LSTD 2800), and Motivation in Learning and Leadership (LSTD 4800). I also developed a master's level course entitled, "Museums and Learning (LSTD 5570). Existing courses taught: Introduction to Interdisciplinary Inquiry (LSTD 1003) and Sleep and Dreams (LSTD 4700).
Excelsior College, Albany, NY 8/2005-present Developed and taught online upper and lower division courses for the Bachelor of Liberal Studies program. Courses developed and taught: Social Inequalities of the World (SOC 328), Contemporary Issues (SOC 215). INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN University of Oklahoma: College of Arts and Sciences 6/2006-present Norman, OK Instructional Design Consultant for the College of Arts and Sciences Online Programs. Work directly with faculty members, developing both undergraduate and graduate level courses for online delivery, developing training manuals for online delivery, conducting workshops for incorporating podcasts/vodcasts into online instruction, etc.
University of Oklahoma's College of Liberal Studies 1/2003-6/2006 Norman, OK Facilitate the development of online courses for the Bachelor of Liberal Studies and Master of Liberal Studies programs, including the Museum Studies option. Job duties include meeting regularly with faculty members and assisting with instructional design (writing course objectives, instructional strategies, behavioral objectives, & assessments), creating online courses using Dreamweaver and uploading onto the server. Developed Faculty Training Manual for College of Liberal Studies.
University of Oklahoma, Department of Human Relations 1/2003-6/2006 Norman, OK Facilitated the development of online undergraduate and graduate courses. Specific job duties included meeting regularly with faculty members, assisting them with Blackboard and D2L, and offering instructional design consultation (writing course objectives, instructional strategies, behavioral objectives, evaluations, & assisting with the selection of appropriate technology), creating online courses using Dreamweaver and uploading onto the server. Supervised and trained Graduate Research Assistants in using Blackboard and Desire2Learn, and developed a Faculty Training Manual for Dept. of Human Relations.

Contract: Federal Aviation Administration, OKC, OK 12/1999-5/2000 Designed Instructional materials, utilizing conventional and computerized delivery systems; coordinating all phases of Instructional material development in support of the FAA's National Traffic Controller Training Program, supervising Ed Tech and SME.

Contract: Oklahoma College of Continuing Education, Norman, OK 9/1998-1/2002 Various contracts for the College of Continuing Education, including: the design, implementation and supervision of the Foreign Executives' Training Program; the training of employees in web page design using various software programs; conducting several formative evaluations of distance learning programs, grant writing, and development of undergraduate and graduate level online courses.

Contract, National Weather Service, Norman, OK 1/1999-1/2000 Conducted a formative evaluation for the National Weather Services' distance training program (WSR-88D).
MUSEUMS Oklahoma City Museum of Art, OKC, OK 6/2002-7/2004 Docent training program; volunteer for Family Art Days, where I Led children ages 3-12 in art projects.
Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, Norman, OK 1/2001-11/2001 Performed a Needs Analysis for the museum, surveying all elementary and middle schools within a 30 mile radius regarding museum outreach, program content, distance education and preference of delivery methods. The analysis was conducted to determine the need for an activity room in the new addition to the museum, as well as preferred methods of instructional delivery.
Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, Norman, OK 11/1997-7/1998 Conducted a Needs Analysis, then designed, implemented and supervised an outreach program for "At Risk" adolescents based which included teaching students both within the museum and at Irving Middle School, then later performed both a formative and summative evaluation of the program. Also conducted a meta-analysis of a pre-existing partnership program ("pARTners").
Sam Noble Museum of Natural History, Norman, OK 12/1997-12/1998 Designed a partner program for middle school children and the museum; assisted in developing and building traveling exhibits, web page design.
Tucson Museum of Art, Tucson,AZ l/1988-9/1990. This was an internship where I was responsible for the writing of Press Releases, Public Service Announcements to radio and television, local and national museums, state-wide organizations, and TMA members. I was also responsible for developing print layouts and training interns.
Volunteer I.L.S.Y. (Independent Living Services for Youth) 11/2005-present Norman, OK Worked with orphaned/homeless teenage girls in Norman, OK who were trying to complete their high school degree. Provided counseling, tutoring, and assistance with transportation, and other needs.
Warm Blankets 1/2004-present Acted as a spokesperson and fundraiser for Warmblankets.org, a Christian, non-profit organization that rescues orphans and provides them with food, shelter, and an education throughout S.E. Asia and Africa.
