The things you see in front of you are not real.  You’ve known that for a long time now.  You have mastered the art of hallucination.  Or, perhaps, you’ve simply started to realize that everything you perceive goes through that thick, complicated filter which, for simplicity’s sake, you call your mind.  You go along with the lie, the hallucination, because it is easier.  It’s too dangerous to take steps where you’re actually close to the thing you want, you desire.  Better to keep a good wall in place.  Ahhh – hallucination!  Thick, dull, deceitful.  But at least predictable.  It will not betray you.  After all, your reality is your own invention.
